Access control & responsibility
Typically, hospitals have visitor rooms and facilities that only staff can access. It is convenient to separate these areas in the ACS. So the system can automatically unlock and block access points in time. For example, an appointment at a hospital starts at 8 am and clients, having arrived earlier, will not be able to get inside.
The same logic applies to blocking: for example, at 22 o'clock the entrance for visitors will be automatically blocked, and the access point will be armed.
Also, a healthcare facility may have rooms where access is not allowed to all employees. In some of them (for example, where drugs, important documents or expensive equipment are stored) it is advisable to make access only to certain employees and under certain conditions: for example, only accompanied by a responsible person or with his permission. At the same time, all data of persons who took part in authorizing access will be saved in the Sigur archive, and the fact of access will be accompanied by video from surveillance cameras.
This approach will increase security in such premises and in the event of incidents, quickly understand who, when and with whose permission entered there.
Reader indication control
In Sigur, you can easily configure which signals the reader will react to various events or states of access points. This is especially true when working with Sigur readers, which have a full-fledged RGB indication and a broadband speaker that allows you to reproduce any melodies in high quality.
Learn moreIdentification methods
Sigur supports any identification method, including combinations thereof. So, for example, at the entrance groups to a hospital, you can use proximity access cards (as well as bank cards). Clients, on the other hand, should be sent via electronic communication channels disposable PIN- , barcodes or mobile identifier for access via a smartphone.
In some internal rooms, for example, in the operating room and preoperative room, face recognition can be used for employee access - this is convenient because of the fact, that this method does not require removing gloves, contact with cards, and it works even if a person is wearing masks and glasses.
Facial recognition system
Facial recognition is already built into Sigur. To use it, you do not need any specific equipment: for most cases, almost any IP camera and an ordinary modern computer will do.
Learn moreVisitors management
Sigur's allows you to fully automate the management of temporary passes through advanced integration capabilities.
This allows you to manage the arrival and departure of the guest as it is convenient for you: including using integrated self-service kiosks or electronic queue systems. In this case, cards, biometrics, barcodes, PIN-codes and even a smartphone can act as identifiers.
Time & attendance
The data collected by the access system can be used to calculate attendant hours. Sigur supports schedules of any complexity with various algorithms for calculating hours worked, so for each of the groups of employees you can create a schedule that fully meets the specifics of its work.
Besides of organizing access control at the entrance lobbies, you can always expand the system by equipping additional access points - these can be doctors' offices, laboratories or wards.
Multipurpose solution
Sigur is integrated with dozens of video surveillance systems (and simply IP cameras), security and fire alarm systems.
The integrated solution allows you to monitor the situation at the facility more conveniently, as well as to respond more quickly to any incidents, which is especially important for healthcare facilities with high safety requirements and a large flow of people.
Also you can configure various automatic reactions of one of the systems to events in the other: for example, Sigur automatically unlocks doors and turnstiles for evacuation in the case of a fire alarm.
Evacuation report
In Sigur, it is possible to generate a special report in the case of an evacuation: this will allow the responsible person to understand who is already in the safe zone and who is not yet.
